The alginate substrate carries silver ions to form a silver-containing alginate dressing.
The product is sterile, has no skin sensitization, no irritation, and cytotoxicity is not greater than grade 3.
With the performance characteristics of alginate, it absorbs exudate to form a gel, and at the same time, the specific silver ions have the effect of sterilization and antibacterial, and improve the comprehensive wound healing ability of functional dressings.
- Silver ion dressings release silver ions upon contact with wound exudate.
- Silver ions bind to enzyme proteins in bacterial cells, inactivating them and killing the bacteria.
- Silver Os binds to the DNA and RNA of bacterial cells, viruses, etc., preventing their replication.
- Silver ions in the dressing combine with metalloproteins in the wound to increase the concentration of zinc, calcium, and copper ions in the wound and promote wound healing.
