The alginate substrate carries silver ions to form a silver-containing alginate dressing.
The product is sterile, has no skin sensitization, no irritation, and cytotoxicity is not greater than grade 3.
With the performance characteristics of alginate, it absorbs exudate to form a gel, and at the same time, the specific silver ions have the effect of sterilization and antibacterial, and improve the comprehensive wound healing ability of functional dressings.
Silver ion dressing is an antibacterial dressing made by adding the silver compound to synthetic polymer absorbent fiber and made by a special process.
- Silver ion dressings release silver ions upon contact with wound exudate.
- Silver ions bind to enzyme proteins in bacterial cells, inactivating them and killing the bacteria.
- Silver Os binds to the DNA and RNA of bacterial cells, viruses, etc., preventing their replication.
- Silver ions in the dressing combine with metalloproteins in the wound to increase the concentration of zinc, calcium, and copper ions in the wound and promote wound healing.
- Silver ion dressing has a strong inhibitory effect on bacteria and other microorganisms, and does not produce drug resistance.
- Sustained bactericidal effect for 5-7 days.
- The release of silver ions is associated with wound exudate. The more exudate, the more silver ions are released.
- Efficient and long-lasting antibacterial properties, effective against various pathogenic microorganisms.
- Control and prevent wound infection, protect the wound edge, and prevent the invasion of surrounding bacteria.
- Promotes wound healing and reduces scar formation.
- No adhesion to the wound, painless dressing change, no secondary damage.
- Treat all kinds of wounds with high exudative infection and prevent wounds prone to infection.
- Chronic refractory
wounds, such as diabetic feet, venous ulcers of lower extremities, etc.
- Dress deep wounds to prevent infection.
- Anti-infection of skin donor and skin graft site wounds.
