What are alginate dressings?

Alginate dressing is a high-tech medical dressing made by combining alginate fiber extracted from natural seaweed plants with calcium ions and processed by special technology. Longtai alginate dressing can absorb a large amount of exudate vertically, close contact with the wound, fill and support deep wounds, effectively drain deep exudate in the cavity, and provide a moist healing environment for wound healing, promote granulation growth, and reduce the risk of wound infection.

Usage and precautions :

①. Clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin before use

②.Place the dressing on the covered surface

③. Alginate stays in the wound for no more than one week

④. When using the filling strip, first determine the size and depth of the wound. Start filling from the base of the wound and try not to leave dead space, otherwise it will affect the effect of the dressing.
