How acne patches work
From adolescence to adulthood, anyone who is troubled by acne should have used "acne patches". Especially for people who often sit in front of the computer for a long time after work, will secrete a lot of oil on the face, and the most direct skin problem is acne. The previous article also introduced many types of acne and acne treatment methods. Today, I will explain the principles of commonly used acne patches, and understand the correct use and precautions. Then please come and see it with me.
The predecessor of the acne patch is the hydrocolloid dressing, which is actually the "material applied to the wound". The following figure shows the production process of the acne patch.
1.Why use acne patches?
Acne patches can help us absorb the pus produced by the wound, help the wound moisturize, and have the effect of faster recovery of the wound, prevention of scars, and prevention of secondary infection. Can be used to cover wound marks after a pimple squeeze or before makeup.
2.Do you know how acne patches work?
Take Longterm Medical acne patch as an example, its material is a hydrophilic hydrogel dressing. It can absorb wound exudate. After absorbing exudate, the hydrophilic particles in the dressing can form a gel-like semi-solid substance that adheres to the base of the acne, providing and maintaining a moist healing environment conducive to wound healing. It is viscous and can form occlusive wounds. A closed healing environment can promote the proliferation of microvessels and the formation of granulation tissue, thereby accelerating wound healing. Can play the debridement function. On the one hand, hydrocolloids contain endogenous enzymes, which can promote the dissolution of fibrin; on the other hand, the airtight environment provided by hydrocolloid dressings is conducive to the removal of necrotic tissue by macrophages, and its surface layer has a waterproof effect.
3. How to use acne patch correctly :
It's important to first familiarize yourself with what acne conditions should be used for. Here's how:
1. To prevent bacteria from multiplying, wash your hands and the acne area thoroughly.
2. Choose a suitable acne patch according to the state of acne.
3. It is best to replace it in a cycle of 2 to 3 days.
4. It is necessary to block ultraviolet rays, prevent coloring, and prevent acne marks from appearing
4. Precautions for using acne patches:
1. If the acne area has healed or there is no change, you can stop using the acne patch.
2. For small acne, a large acne patch is not as easy to use as a small patch. You can choose the right size acne patch according to the size of the acne.
3. Most acne marks are formed after multiple squeezing, so it is best not to be quick and improperly squeeze the acne on the face.
4. When using acne patches when going out, pay attention to the sunscreen around the acne patches, otherwise, spots will easily form on the face.
5. If you find acne red, swollen, hot, painful, and yellow-green discharge, you need to see a doctor in time and take medicine under the guidance of a doctor.
