Formation process of acne on the face

Acne on the face is a skin problem that many people have experienced or are experiencing. It not only affects the appearance but may also cause pain and discomfort. The following will explore in depth the process of acne formation, inflammation symptoms, and how to use acne patches and scientific acne care methods to help us better manage and improve this problem.

The process of acne formation :

1. Increased sebum secretion: It is related to endocrine disorders. For example, the increase of male hormones stimulates the proliferation of sebaceous glands, leading to increased sebum secretion. The high activity of natural sebaceous cells can also lead to more sebum secretion.

2. Keratinization and blockage of the opening of the sebaceous gland duct of the hair follicle: Sebum is transported to the skin surface through the hair follicle duct. If the cells on the surface of the hair follicle are excessively keratinized and cannot fall off in time, it will affect the normal excretion of sebum, causing sebum to accumulate in the hair follicle, forming fatty acid, and then clogging the pores.

3. Propionibacterium acnes proliferation: When the pores are blocked, the hair follicles are deprived of oxygen, and the anaerobic bacteria - Propionibacterium acnes multiply in large numbers, decomposing triglycerides to produce free fatty acids, which stimulate inflammatory reactions in the hair follicles and surrounding areas.

4. Inflammatory response: Various cytokines, complement, etc. participate in the inflammatory response, aggravating the redness and swelling, and forming inflammatory papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts.

Symptoms of acne inflammation :

When acne is inflamed, it usually manifests as a flushed erythema or red halo at the base of the acne, accompanied by pain, tenderness, increased skin temperature, pustules, purulent exudation, etc. At this time, it should be decided whether intravenous or oral medication is needed according to the area of the rash. If the acne is densely distributed and there is a large area of purulent exudation, clindamycin phosphate injection can be intravenously administered to enhance the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. If the area is small, only oral cefixime capsules can be used for treatment, combined with laser irradiation and application of ointment.

Scientific acne care :

1. Pay attention to your diet: Eat more fruits, vegetables, and protein-rich foods, and eat less greasy and spicy foods. Drinking more water can also help keep your skin healthy.

2. Clean your face: Wash your face every morning and evening with warm water and a mild cleanser to remove excess oil and dirt. But be careful to avoid over-cleansing, otherwise it will stimulate the skin to produce more oil.

3. Avoid squeezing pimples: Squeezing pimples may damage skin tissue, leading to infection and scarring.

4. Anti-inflammatory: You can apply the tea leaves after brewing to the acne scars, which can effectively remove redness and reduce inflammation.

Acne patches are a special type of patch that can play an important role in acne care. Acne patches usually use special glue as a raw material. When applied to acne, they can absorb the oil, pus, and tissue fluid secreted by acne, while isolating external bacteria and dust, reducing acne inflammation and accelerating the disappearance of acne. When using acne patches, you need to make sure that the skin has been thoroughly cleaned and follow the time and method of use in the instructions.

Although acne on the face is annoying, we can better manage and improve this problem by understanding its generation process, inflammation manifestations, and scientific acne care methods. Using acne patches as an auxiliary means can accelerate the disappearance of acne to a certain extent. But the most important thing is to develop good skincare and lifestyle habits to fundamentally reduce the occurrence of acne.
