How to deal with burns from hot pots?

Hotpot, a traditional food originating from the East, has now crossed borders and become a delicacy that gourmets all over the world are eager to taste. However, the problem of burns cannot be ignored, especially when enjoying delicious food, we need to understand the emergency treatment and care methods after burns to avoid leaving scars.

If you are accidentally scalded by a hot pot?

1. The first thing to do is to rinse quickly. Immediately rinse the burned area with tap water or cold water for about 10 to 20 minutes to reduce the temperature of the burned area and relieve the pain. It is also very important to keep the burned area clean. Then gently wash it with clean water or saline to remove dirt and residual seasoning to avoid infection.

2. You can choose some anti-inflammatory and analgesic ointments, such as burn ointment, bandages, etc., and use them correctly according to the instructions. In addition, avoid damaging the skin of the burned area. Do not use blades or other tools to scrape or cut the blisters, so as not to damage the skin tissue and aggravate the infection.

3. When the blisters on the burn site rupture or shrink, you can use hydrocolloid dressings for moist healing. This dressing can promote epidermal growth and accelerate wound healing. When the exudate area exceeds 1 to 2 cm of the burn area, the dressing should be changed in time to ensure that the wound is well cared for.

4. In order to prevent the formation of scars, you can use scar removal products such as silicone gel scar dressings. It can promote the synthesis of collagen and repair damaged skin tissue, help the skin resist damage from ultraviolet rays and other environmental factors, and promote the regeneration and repair of skin cells.

Tips:

After a burn, adequate rest and conditioning are equally important. Avoid strenuous exercise or lifting heavy objects to avoid aggravating the injury. At the same time, maintaining adequate sleep and a proper diet will help the body recover. If the burn is serious, or if there are symptoms such as fever, redness, swelling, and suppuration, be sure to seek medical attention in time and receive professional treatment. After all, health is the most important thing. Although delicious food is good, safety cannot be ignored.
