I sincerely recommend that sisters take good care after childbirth. If you don't take care properly, you will spend double the money for treatment in the later stage. So we try to spend as little as possible and suffer less. Now I will share with you the good things used in postpartum care. Let's take a look below.
Prepare items in advance:
2 abdominal bands to be changed and washed, sterile gauze (one week's supply), large waterproof dressings (1~2 weeks' supply), tension-reducing patches (prepare three patches), silicone gel (3 boxes), saline, iodine cotton swabs
1. I chose the 7-day 6-night package for hospitalization. Before the operation, I specifically told the doctor to suture the rectus abdominis muscle. The incision was sutured with protein thread to avoid taking the thread. Before I was discharged from the hospital after the operation, the nurse's sister disinfected the wound with iodine and changed the gauze to bandage the wound every day.
2. Within 1 week after being discharged from the hospital and returning home, the confinement nanny disinfected the incision with iodine and applied a sterile dressing every day. It was very convenient. Later, I was afraid of iodine pigment deposition, so I used saline to clean the wound (it is best to change the gauze every day to ensure hygiene and prevent infection, especially in summer)
3. 13 days after delivery, wash with saline every day. After cleaning and drying, apply epidermal growth gel on the incision to promote scab formation. After the incision naturally sheds scabs, start applying silicone gel, which contains silicone ingredients and can be used safely during lactation. It can fade scars and prevent hyperplasia! At present, the incision has recovered well, the pain has been greatly reduced, and there is no hyperplasia, and no ulcer. During this period, the abdominal belt should be tied every day, except for lying down (I asked before being discharged from the hospital that it should be tied for three months).
4. As long as there is a scab on the incision, you should use a waterproof dressing when taking a bath.
5. Regarding tension reduction, the sutures need to be removed. After the operation, more attention should be paid to tension prevention. After one week, the tension reduction is used, and it is used for 10-15 days at a time.
About dietary care:
(You need to fast for 6 hours after the operation. If there is no gas discharge after 6 hours, you can drink boiled water or liquid food, such as boiled water, white radish soup, or fish soup (after the gas discharge, you can eat porridge, thin noodles, steamed eggs, etc. The diet in the week after delivery is mostly light, such as milk, eggs, fish, shrimp, etc. Postpartum
care is gradual, and you can't recover by sticking to it for one or two days~ You must insist on care. I wish all sisters could successfully get ashore!
